For the past few years, this has been the cake to celebrate my mom’s birthday.
An orange and camomile chilled cheesecake from La Boulangerie, made with a light cream cheese mouse, real orange slices, and camomile and orange flavours.
Her birthday is in April when it’s usually still dreary save for a few sunny days.
It’s June now except it still feels like April, I’m trying to get summer going – with cake and flowers…
I’m beginning to understand why my mom likes this cake so much.
It’s the cheeriest, brightest cake ever! It’s a celebration cake for summer from hence on.
