These stripe columns are called Les Deux Plateaux or Buren’s Columns (Colonnes de Buren) for Daniel Buren, the artist who created them.
This art installation can be found at the courtyard of the Palais Royal.
I find them quite intriguing; it’s turned the stoic, very grand courtyard into a relaxing and welcoming space.
It’s always fascinating when art is strong enough to modify the space it occupies.
Next to the courtyard is the Jardin du Palais Royal, quite possibly the most beautiful tranquil garden you’d ever find.
If I ever have to choose a sanctuary, I’d choose the garden at the Palais Royal.
And I’d wear this outfit too, I wasn’t sure of what to make of the dress/top, it was shiny and a few sizes too big.
I brought it along on vacation and found out that it’s perfect for travel, another comfortable travel wear

This outfit so perfectly voluminous I think I’ll wear it to dinner on Christmas Day.
