Here’s yet another outfit post with my rain boots; and as I sit here typing this, dear reader, won’t you guess what shoes I’m wearing?

I used to be one of those people who’d hold up a vest and ask, “How ever would I wear this?”

I realize I could wear a vest anyway I please, but the trick would be wearing it effortlessly.

Then I had this dream one night (a real dream, I tell you!); in my dream I was having coffee and Mondrian cake (like the one at SFMOMA) and wearing a vest… very stylishly.

That dream is motivation enough to try wearing vests until it feels natural.

I’m not going to be too hard on myself as this is just a first try.

Did you know that King Charles II issued a proclamation in the 17th century that every man should officially wear a waistcoat?

I wonder how he’d feel about women wearing them now.
