Back to the Grind

While I’m a little sad that the holidays are over I’m excited for things to get back to normal.

Unfortunately, I’ve come to realize that I need a bit of structure in my life.

The past couple of days have been a wonderful blur – days fused together, I stayed up till the wee hours of the mornings and slept in till late in the afternoons.

I didn’t even bother getting out of my pyjamas on some days.

The concept of time for a while didn’t exist and life was glorious.

Surely I can’t go on like that, at least for my sanity – plus how long can I take my mom asking “Are you going out again?” and “Are you still sleeping”

Sure, I’ll be complaining in a few days, but I think I’m ready for things to get back to normal.

I’ve picked out my outfits for the week and I have a mental do-list for the first things I’ll be tackling at work.

To get us back into the swing of things, here are some outfit pictures from the start of December.

Mon 7 Dec - 6

Checkout these Camper boots, I got them in London this summer, I’d wear them everywhere if I could.

Camper makes some of the best shoes – beautifully made, comfortable and lasts a lifetime.

Bead Necklace: Custom Made

I think I’m going to do my ‘after work shots’ photos throughout the winter and then we’ll see in the spring.

I wish I could remember who made the bead necklace, it’s very beautiful and versatile – it can be worn in different ways.

It’s from a designer in Ghana (whose name I can’t remember, silly me!).

The hook earrings are from Birks, a gift from my sister, I love them, they’re just the right size for when I want something more than just a stud earring.
