On Wednesday (or was it Tuesday?) we were supposed to go to Potters Bar to see Skin, a movie based on a true story about a black South African girl born to white South African parents during the Apartheid era.
However, scheduling conflicts and poor time management sometimes get in the way of best laid plans.
We had to make a stop at Battersea Studios first, but something happened and something else happened and we didn’t get to Victoria Station until late in the afternoon.
We boarded the train,
A quick short ride and some great views later, the next stop, Battersea Park Railway Station was our stop.
We got to the studio and the adults got to do their thing.
I stepped out and decided to go for a walk and discovered Clapham Junction!
I took Queenstown Road and up Lavender Hill. I walked up the hill towards Clapham Junction
I found Whole Foods! I’ve found three locations so far. I got a yummy snack and checked out their ‘Fresh & Wild’ brand (that’s same as ‘365’ brand here).
Finally made it to Clapham Junction, walked around for hours.
Jamie Oliver has a food and kitchen shop on St. Johns Road, it’s a very neat concept.
After hours of doing the shops on St Johns I continued on towards the Northcote Road neighbourhood.
That was basically my day, the evening was a lovely birthday dinner with old friends.
