I spent some part of my morning looking for a song – any song by Peter Andre from years ago

This has to do with a recent conversation I had with Erica.

I was commenting on the British gossip tabloids’ barraging and unique obsession with their celebrities.

I mentioned that I’ve been reading about a Jordan (aka Katie Price) & Peter almost everyday even though I had no idea who they were or what they did.

“Oh, but you know who Peter is” Erica went.

I vehemently replied – “no I don’t!”

She looks at me like I’m delusional, shakes her head and goes, “Yes you do! You had a huge poster of him in your bedroom and you loved all his songs… you were crazy about him!”

I think about it for a minute – nothing comes to me, and I say dolefully, “Really? I don’t remember”

She laughs a little, rolls her eyes and sings a little of the song I allegedly was ‘crazy’ about, the song sounds vaguely familiar but I don’t have any memories to go with it.

Why couldn’t I remember? I mean, I do remember my Joey McIntyre poster from the early nineties

I watched to a couple of the videos and it made me giggle – No wonder I couldn’t remember – I blocked it out for good reason
