I usually don’t make New Year’s resolutions, I stopped making them a couple of years ago.
Although sometimes I think I’m better disciplined to stick to resolutions now.
This isn’t a resolution per se – I just want to take better pictures this year.
A famous photographer’s response when asked how to take amazing pictures was; “live an amazing life” – that pretty much sums up how I hope this year plays out.
My not-a-resolution for 2011: live an amazing life, take amazing pictures!
I love new beginnings.

My resolution for ’08 is very simple.
It’s from a hymn my mother taught me when I was a child. I figured it’s straightforward, pragmatic yet important enough to commit to.
It’s the second stanza of W. Charter Piggott’s hymn “Heavenly Father, May thy blessing”
