An English Bay Evening
Today, for a little while there was a quiet lull in the city, and the temperature a bit cooler.
Still, you could feel the tension in the air, and slowly the crowds gathered, and then there was the thunderous uproar when the Canucks won Game 5 in the Stanley Cup playoffs against the Bruins. Downtown went crazy… absolutely nuts!
But it was a little calmer along the beach on English Bay

This was a great weekend for a run; it was sunny, breezy and cool.
I didn’t go very far because I couldn’t go until early afternoon. Here are some of the pictures I took:

I had an eye appointment this weekend so I decided to combine that with my run. The Dr.’s office is on West Broadway, so it was the seawall through Yaletown, then the Cambie Bridge; it wasn’t as long a run as I would have liked but the pace was good. Here are the pictures, taken on the way back:

I’ve been holding off this very first post, I felt it had to be special, it’s been days and I still can’t come up with anything. So here we go. I’m posting pictures from my run this Saturday instead.
