Photowalk: Coal Harbour by the Seawall
I love walking and I love taking pictures!
I walk a lot, I can’t say enough how therapeutic walking has been for me or how much it’s enriched my life.
I’m not kidding; most of the great ideas I’ve had, came to me while walking. It doesn’t hurt that it’s a free and healthy activity.
I’ve probably walked the Seawall a million times, it’s close, accessible and practically my backyard.
Sometimes, I have no choice but to walk it to get to my intended destination.
There are several points from the West End to join Seawall but I normally start from the north in Coal Harbour if it’s a “real walk”.
I’ve managed to collect quite a few pictures of Coal Harbour and I just thought I share them in this post.
Hope you like them.
Sunday Afternoons
Yesterday was another beautiful day, it felt a little like paradise.
Everyone was outside walking, biking or on their blades. Kids were running around and sweet music was in the air
I went for a walk and brought my new camera along, luckily, it also records videos.
We basically circled the downtown core; we walked as far east as Victory Square where Central City Foundation was holding their ’09 Fair in the Square picnic, we hung out a bit – listened to live music, took pictures and talked to some of the folks (I’ll do a post on that soon).
We walked back through Canada Place and the new Convention Centre.
We took a breather at the park in Coal Harbour, watched the kids (and some adults) have fun in the spray park and wished were that carefree.
We spent sometime with the gracious busker, and people watched for a while.
