I haven’t worn contacts since last September, and no, I didn’t have laser eye surgery.
I merely went back to wearing glasses.
According to my friend G; there’s never been a better time to wear glasses…

A Perfect Day
Today was beautiful and unexpectedly sunny, like a perfect bouquet.
We haven’t had one of those in a while… It’s amazing how easily nature brightens the day and lifts the spirit.
It makes me happy.

Except for short early morning outing, I spent a quiet Sunday mostly at home; watching Jean Reno movies and snacking…

Scenes From Around Here: Lighthouse Park
I first saw Lighthouse Park from a boat on my way to Bowen Island
I couldn’t believe that I’d lived here that long and had never been to this amazing rocky park with ancient tall trees and enchanting lighthouse.
It would take me another whole year to make that forty-minute trip to the park.
This lovely park is in West Vancouver; it has meandering trails, giant mossy trees, secluded areas and the ocean!
The views are just magnificent!
The hikes are easy and pleasant…
And of course there’s the Point Atkinson Lighthouse
